To join a hot air balloon ride in Cappadocia, the only thing you need to do is to contact a balloon tour company directly in Goreme or book it through by us. We sugesst you to book earlier because in summer season is high season and it is not easy to find tickets. Even you bought and reserved your ticket  sometimes you can not have this tour because of weather conditions. So you will be refunded asap. After you buy the ticket or booked the flight you will be informed for the exact time that you will be picked up from your hotel for the balloon ride.

Before sunrise,about 4 or 5 a.m(depends on winter or summer time), you will be picked up from your hotel and driven to the field where balloons take off. As you wait for balloons to be inflated, you will be served light breakfast,tea or coffee.Take off area is nearly the same for all balloons but landing area can change depending on your direction and pilot will decide for better area to land.Land crew continuously follows the balloon and gives information about all directions.

After the flight, the certificate ceremony takes place with champagne celebration. Afterwards, you will be transferred back to your hotel.So you can rest or go on your tour as well.
